The collection documents the activities of Director of the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science, and Art, Frank S. Daggett from 1911-1920 and incldues correspondence regarding Hancock Park and Rancho La Brea, collecting expeditions to Alaska and Africa, and includes correspondence with Theodore Roosevelt.
